INFORMATION - Coaching Course |

Penn Legacy will host the NSCAA Advanced Youth Diploma course July 31 to August 2, 2009. This 21 hour course is designed for the Youth coach working with U-9 to U-12 players. The overall objective is to help each coach create the optimal learning environment for players at this developmental stage. Emphasis is placed on the basic methods of coaching todays youth and the physiological and psychological differences in coaching children compared to adolescence and adults. Course fee is $160 and includes a one year membership to the NSCAA. Registration is limited to the first 35 candidates. Lancaster Inferno Team |

Penn Legacy Soccer Club is proud to support the Lancaster Inferno. The Inferno team is in the Women's Premier Soccer League - the highest level of women's amateur soccer in the United States. We are thrilled that the Inferno will play home games on the Penn Legacy turf fields at either the Stadium or the Quad at Hempfield High School over the summer in 2009. The Penn Legacy girls program has made it a priority to hire the as many women as possible to coach girls in our program (currently we have 5). We feel that that the mentorship role a woman can provide to girls as a coach is vital in their development. We are proud that two of our women coaches play for the Inferno - Carli Brill (coach of the U-16 and U-10 girls for 2009-2010) and Kirsten Hoffsmith (coach of the U-18 girls for 2009-2010).
Please come out and support Carli and Kirsten and the rest of the Inferno as they battle other womens premier teams from all over the east coast. Below is the 2009 home schedule....the price of tickets is $4, but girls wearing their Penn Legacy uniforms will be given free admission and can volunteer as ball girls as needed.
