Penn Legacy Futures

Penn Legacy Soccer Club is a recent recipient of the Advanced Assessment as part of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's (NSCAA) Club Standards Project, an international initiative to raise performance standards in youth soccer clubs.

A critical component of the evaluation process is to identify good and best practice examples that can be used to help other clubs improve the education environment for their children and coaches.  Penn legacy is recognized for its efforts in eliminating the 'ability to pay' as a factor influencing participation in the club's grassroots programs.

The 'Pay What You Can' program is an outstanding illustration of strategic planning and implementation.  An initiative of this type requires considerable community support from local businesses, individuals and families that share the financial burden with the club - those that appreciate the real benefits youth sports participation can have on children applaud you!

The 'Pay What You Can Program' is an example of NSCAA 'BEST' Practice.
